PRIVACY POLICY

Thanks for using Mini City! We are committed to securing legal forms of identification (“Birth Certificates”) for those experiencing homelessness and those that serve, and/or assist those that are at-risk for homelessness. Here we describe how we collect, use and handle users information when a user accesses our software and services ("Services").

What & Why

We collect and use the following information to provide, improve and protect our Services:

Account.

We collect, and associate with a user's account, information like their name, email address, phone number, address if available, and account activity. Some of our services lets our softwarerepresentatives access your accounts.

Services.

Our Services are designed to make it simple for users to obtain a birth certificate, pre-fill out government forms like birth application and social security forms, sign waivers and liability statements, store job history and narrative yearly goals across multiple devices. To make that possible, we store, process, and transmit your information—like forms and documents—as well as information related to it. This related information can be things like a user profile that is stored in our encrypted database that makes it easier for our software and customer service team to unlock identification.

Usage.

We collect information related to how users use the Services, including actions a user would take on the tablet dashboard (like accessing, editing, and storing information). We also collect information from and about the devices a user uses to access the Services. This includes things like IP addresses, the type of browser and device a user uses, and identifiers associated with your devices. Your devices (depending on their settings) may also transmit location information to the our database.

Support ID (Identification).

We collect user’s Support ID, as needed and when necessary, to secure birth certificates. This can include Support ID such as State ID, School ID, Licenses for homeless citizens. For case workers, this can include Support ID such as Work Badges during Team Orientation. We never collect Support ID without the consent of users and it is only to ensure the delivery of birth records as needed.

With whom

We may share information as discussed below, but we won't sell it to advertisers or other third parties. Others working for Mini City. Mini City uses certain trusted third parties (for example, providers of customer support and IT services) to help us provide, improve, protect, and promote our Services. We'll remain responsible for their handling of user information per our instructions. Mini City Team Admins. Mini City Team Admins that are authorized my have access to a user’s account information for the purpose of trouble shooting or unlocking an account.

How

Security.

We have a team dedicated to keeping your information secure and testing for vulnerabilities. We also continue to work on features to keep user information safe in addition to things like two-factor authentication, encryption of our database, and email notifications to Users.

Retention.

We'll retain information users store within our tablet for as long as we need it to provide users the Services.

Where

Around the nation. To provide you with the Services, we may transmit information in the United States to a location that is not a user’s home base. This simply means we may take the information gathered in Georgia, to obtain a record in Tennessee.

Changes

If we are involved in a reorganization, merger, acquisition or sale of our assets, user information may be transferred as part of that deal. We will notify the user (for example, via a message to the email address associated with the user account) of any such deal and outline user choices in that event. We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time, and will post the most current version on our website. If a revision meaningfully affects a user, we will contact the users.

Penalty for Fraudulent Statement

U.S.C. TITLE 18, SECTION 1001, provides. “Whoever, in any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States knowingly and willfully falsifies, or makes any false, fictitious or fraudulent statements or representation, or makes or uses any false writing or document knowing the same to contain any false, fictitious or fraudulent statement or entry, faces a prison term of up to five years and a fine of up to $250,000. If the offense involves terrorism, anyone convicted of making false statements faces up to eight years in prison, in accordance with Georgia Law.
